On August 9th every year, Singapore celebrates its birthday with a celebration called National Day Parade. Tickets are by balloting, lucky ones get to be part of an audience to attend the event held at a stadium (floating platform) in person!

Using a valuable skill from Polytechnic and that is self-learning, I quickly picked up basic HTML, CSS, Javascript, PHP, MySQL and Flash Actionscript 3 in time to create this website that complements the celebrations and allows people to read and countdown to the very day.
